15 years later and Kale and Faye have another child plus three adorable grandchildren. The day Taryn turned 18, her friends threw her a giant party and invited anyone and everyone. There, she became acquainted with Morgan Meyer, a cousin of one her classmates attending the community college at that time. She and Morgan really hit it off that night, partly due to the alcohol they had both been drinking. One thing turned into the next, and before they knew it, they were alone in Morgan's car. Before long, Taryn realized she was pregnant with a baby whose father she hardly even knew. She and Morgan had texted often during that month and met up a few times, so she knew she had to tell him. To her surprise, he didn't turn away. He was a little surprised and overwhelmed, but he was sure he loved her, after only a month, and knew he couldn't leave. Kale and Faye were very surprised when they found out. They hated Morgan and were very disappointed in Taryn, but they still supported her. She did, after all, remind Kale of himself and his father at her age. Taryn moved in with Morgan and his roommates, and as soon as Morgan finished his studies and found a job, they found their own apartment. After baby Eden was born, Taryn began taking art classes at the community college, hoping to become a photographer or interior designer. Morgan and Taryn got married around that time, as well. It took Kale and Faye awhile to approve of Morgan, but now they're very thankful Taryn has found him. Morgan and Taryn hadn't exactly planned to have any more kids for awhile, but when they found out they were pregnant with twin girls, they were overjoyed. Meredith has dark brown hair and Maia has Morgan's black hair, and they both have Taryn's eyes. Eden has brown hair and Morgan's electric blue eyes. Eden is becoming quite the little sports star - he loves every sport he's ever played or watched, and is obsessed with soccer.
Around the same time Taryn told them she was expecting, Kale and Faye found out that they were pregnant as well. They were definitely not planning on having another baby, so this was quite the surprise. It was almost like having a first child all over again - they had to prepare the nursery and buy new baby clothes and toys. Little Saige was born a little prematurely and with Down syndrome, but she was a healthy baby nonetheless, and the family realized they would not be complete without her. She has Faye's hair and Kale's eyes - the only child to have inherited them besides Sary. Currently, Saige is a happy 4-year-old who enjoys mothering her dolls and playing with her nephew and nieces. The rest of the children are also doing well - Jessa is pursuing a medical degree at Yale, Finn is hopes to study jounalism at a small liberal arts school, Sary and Sky are about to begin their senior year of high school (Sary is looking forward to senior prom and Sky hopes to win a softball state championship), and Ari is glad to finally be an upperclassman (and also hopes that means he'll get a bigger part in the fall musical).
