Not much has been going on in the Stanley family. Adriel and Blakely are succeeding in their schooling and have both made a plethora of friends. They are practically inseparable (from each other and from their friends). In their friend group there is always a sleepover or a party of some sort either planned or in the makings. Cataleya just started school this past year. She's a little on the shyer side and has had a lot of trouble making friends. Fortunately for her, one of Adriel and Blakely's friends has a brother her age that she's become friends with. Lolo and Soren are very proud of all three of their kids. This past year they also decided that they would start trying for a fourth baby now. They had wanted a break, what with rambunctious twins and a little one around. But they are still young and they love all their children and wouldn't mind more.

DS: Blaise Castiel Stevens-Caruso "Cas" (25) [Gray's twin]
DH: Roger Sterling Stevens-Caruso (26)
Cas was with Beckham for several years before he decided that he honestly really missed being with Roger. So Cas broke up with Beckham and sought out his ex. As it turns out, Roger had seen several other people, but none of his relationships really turned out well. Most only lasted for a couple of months at the most so when Cas asked for him back, Roger didn't respond with words, but rather with a kiss. And that sealed their fate. A couple months later, they were talking about the future and that's when Cas stopped. He turned and looked at Roger. Looking at the man before him, Cas knew that this was the man of his dreams. Engulfed in the moment, completely unprepared, Cas blurted out, "Roger, marry me!"
Roger broke into a chuckle which turned into a bellyaching laugh which had Cas more confused than anything. It took Roger several minutes (and several repeats of the question "What's so funny?" from Cas) before he could catch his breath. Finally, he looked Cas in the eye, pulled out a little box, and set it in his hands. Cas opened the box. As he did, Roger commented, "Funny you should ask me that. I was prepared to ask you first."
And that's the story of how Cas and Roger ended up proposing to each other. A few months later and the couple was happily married. They went off and began to plan the future of the Stevens-Caruos family. So far, none of that plan has gone into action. But it will. And soon.

Gray and Felicity have been a couple for a long, long time now. But neither really has their sights set on marriage. At least not at the moment. So in the meantime, they've decided to start a family anyway. Last year, they had their first child, a daughter named Amanda. Rather than give her Gray's last name, they decided to give her Felicity's. And when they have a son, they will give him Gray's. It's their method of compromising. Amanda is a little sweetheart. All of her aunts and uncles adore her, as do her cousins. And for perfectly good reason too. Never was there a sweeter little one year old around than Amanda Killingsworth.

DGf: Ada Scarlet Jensen (21)
King just recently (as in a month or so ago) found himself in a relationship with a longtime childhood friend--Ada Jensen. They had been pals from the beginning but after they reached middle school (when having a guy as a friend was looked down upon), they had lost touch. A few months ago, they ran into each other at a Dairy Queen where Ada was working. She took his order and, as she was done with her shift in ten or so minutes, he waited until she got off work while eating his food. When she joined him, they hit it off again at lightning speed. It took King a month or so before he realized he had feelings for this girl, but it took him even longer to realize that she reciprocated those feelings. But finally he asked her out and she said yes.
Brylee is in love with Ada. She keeps asking King if she's going to be her "new mommy." King never has a good answer to his daughter's question, which leaves the kindergartner rather disappointed. Ada loves the sweet little girl and tells King that she wouldn't mind even just playing a motherly role in Brylee's life. King isn't sure he wants Ada to. What if they break up? He doesn't want Brylee to become too attached to his current girlfriend. He almost regrets ever having brought Ada home to Brylee. It's his greatest fear that things won't work out with Ada and that he'll break Brylee's heart when he has to tell her that her "new mommy" won't be around anymore because she isn't with daddy. He knows it'll devastate her and her devastation will in turn devastate him.

DS: Lance Augustus Caruso "Gus" (10) [Libby and Romy's triplet]
Libby, Romy, and Gus are ten years old and growing at the speed of lightning. Currently, Gus is quite a bit shorter than his sisters but he has easily become the leader of the group. Romy is beginning to decide that she doesn't like Gus's tyranny and has started hanging out with a different group of people than her siblings. Libby is a little quieter and doesn't have the same amount of confidence that her sister has, otherwise she would rebel against Gus's tyranny as well. But for now, she stays in the same group as her cocky younger brother.

Una and Rhys are now engaged. Ally isn't entirely sure she approves of the relationship. It worries her that her daughter is engaged at only 20 years old. Una insists that Rhys is the one for her, but Ally is skeptical. How is a 20 year old supposed to know that? Especially if she's only ever dated her fiancé? Something about the whole thing frightens Ally. Maybe she's just a little overprotective and paranoid, but she just doesn't like this entire situation.
After several years out of the dating game, Ally one day a couple years ago met the sweetest man she had ever met. Finley Dwyer had experienced some hardships in his life, too. When he was a child, his father physically abused him. He never learned to fight back and neither did his mother. But one day, his mother told him to pack his bags and they ran while his father was out. For several months, they lived on the streets until his mother turned him over to the state, because she wanted better for her son than she knew she could ever provide. So for years Finn bounced around in the system. He eventually outgrew it. By that time, he had become successful and ended up going off to a semi-major university.
While there he met a young woman. They hit it off immediately and became intimately involved within the first few days of their relationship. She became pregnant but didn't tell him until after she had had the pregnancy terminated. Finn didn't like this situation and withdrew from their relationship. But she made his life a living hell, spreading all sorts of terrible rumors about him. It got to the point that all of his previous friends hated him. So poor Finn Dwyer was all alone.
He still managed to finish school all right, though. Several years later, he married the girl of his dreams. But during their marriage, she became distant. She started using all their money for things that she wanted. Finn is pretty sure that pornography came into the story somehow as well. Overall, their marriage fell apart and there was absolutely nothing Finn could do about it. So he divorced her. It wasn't easy, but he gained custody of their two children as well. All this happened almost five years ago, when his youngest, Fabian, was still a little bitty baby.
Ever since, Finn has steered clear of the relationship world. None of his relationships ever turned out well. He was in the same boat as Ally. Neither thought they would ever meet someone who would understand, who would be willing to take things slow and work things out so that no hurt came about.
Finn and Ally cultivated a strong friendship before they even thought about dating. They have only been together as a couple for a handful of months and are definitely taking things slowly this time around. Neither wants to hurt the other or be hurt himself. Besides, both have children to think of and both know how terrible a break up can be for their kids. It only seems right in their eyes that they take things slowly.
