When they spoke about wanting more children in the future, Natasha, James, and Steven didn't realize they meant so soon. With less than a year between Xavier and Felix, they barely had one child up and walking before starting all over from zero (another boy with dark hair and bright eyes). It was okay though. Three parents for three children. They had this managed. That doesn't mean they weren't super busy or extroidanarily tired (they were often feeling like they had returned to the days of when Nico was first born), but they were happy. They had never expected to embrace parenthood so fully. They all had their jobs. James always made breakfast; Natasha always gave baths; Steven always read bedtime stories. Each one hooked a child into a carseat for outings and each one handled feeding one of them during meals (although Nico was getting big enough to not require a lot of supervision for that anymore).
They could have more children, they decided, but they definitely had to wait a number of years until all three of these were up and doing things for themselves a bit more.
