Carter and Idunn couldn't be more happier and proud when they finally brought home their son all the way from China. Naming him turned out to be quite the same adventure as getting to adopt him. Before they left for Beijing, they were set to name their little boy Carter Leland Hanson IV, but doubts set in already at the airport... It turned out that while they wanted to keep the Hanson family tradition alive, neither of them was too keen of having two Carter's in the household. Calling the little boy by his middle name Leland was out of question as neither of them liked the name. So it happened that once they met their son for the first time, they had no idea what to name him. It wasn't until their fourth day in Beijing and many hours of discussion that Carter brought up the name Beckett. A name that once his parents considered to use for him. His middle name Christoffer is after Idunn's father.
