Aliyah graduated with a bachelor's degree three years ago, and with her master's degree two months ago--and she's scheduled to take her board exam for physician's assistants in a few weeks. In the master's program, she met Tino. Tino is Slovenian, and came to the United States to study medicine. He is two years older than her, but was in the same year of study. The two of them bonded almost immediately over a shared love of French and affinity for canines (it helped that Tino owned a Golden Retriever mix named Milos).
After graduation, the two of them got engaged and are excitedly planning a wedding for the spring. The biggest point of contention--whether the ceremony should be in the US or in Slovenia.
