The year is 1990. Elspeth lived long enough to become a great-grandmother, before peacefully passing away in 1989. Marceau achieved his PhD and now works as a professor at the University of Cambridge, whilst Lowri decided to be a SAHM. Tesni-Fleur was a high achiever at school and found a job working at a bank, where she met her DH, a client looking for a loan to start his own private dental clinic. Both dedicated themselves to their work, but decided to reduce their work hours after finding out that they were unexpectedly expecting twins. Matthieu became a French teacher at a local high school, and met his DW, an English teacher at the same school, and recently had their DD. Marion continued to find success with her paintings, Donovan became a very successful prosecutor, and they later had a DD. Gus followed in his mother’s creative footsteps and began writing stories based off of his mother’s paintings, and has recently published his first novel. Marion and Donovan’s DD works as a museum curator, and has just gotten engaged to her DF, a firefighter. Iris broke up with Larry and decided to move to London to figure out what she wanted to do. She became a receptionist for a pharmaceutical company where she met her DH who works in the marketing department, and is now a PA to one of the company’s CEOs. After many years of struggling to have a child, they had their DD, but were advised against having more children due to the risks to Iris’ health. Their DD is currently figuring out what she wants to do after she finishes school, but wishes to become a ballerina though she worries her parents won’t approve of her career choice.
