I have seen it before, but it was always pronounced dah-NAY. And I never realized it was a 'real' name. I just assumed it was made-up, like a feminized version of Dan, and along the same lines as Janay/Janae. Ugh. Unfortunately, I like it would be misspelled (the "ë" being overlooked) and more than likely mispronounced, esp. since no one here can agree on how it should be pronounced. LOL
