It seems to be another spelling of Kinneret, the Hebrew name for the Sea of Galilee.

My name book has Kinneret and lists it as a place name in Israel meaning harp.
And the wiki article says:
The name Kinneret may originate from the Hebrew word kinnor ("harp" or "lyre")), in view of the shape of the lake.
