Not quite sure what you're saying here, but maybe this will be useful:
Key is not used as a first name in English or Welsh.
Kay is an English version of the Welsh name Cai.
Cai is in current use in Wales - it's fairly popular.
Kay is currently unusual in English, and is now mainly used for girls.
