Probably should've specified...I want to know how Catherina is supposed to be pronounced in Spanish. The pronunciation kath-er-EE-na seems English to me, but I could be wrong.Miranda

In SpanishIt is spelled Catarina and it is prnd. cuh-tuh-REE-nuh
Another variant of this name is Catalina. prnd. cuh-tuh-LEE-nuh
Caterina, is not Spanish but Italian and prnd. cuh-teh-REE-nuhHope this helps,

As far as I know (thinking back to high school Spanish), the h in Spanish is silent. The Spanish forms of Catherine are Caterina and Catalina.
