Re: Has anyone heard of Lemander?
Yes.
Though from memory it effectively predates both cultures.
If my recall is correct, it is an Gaelic/Celt adaptation of a name in Pictish, which meant either "Priestess" or "a child of the Priestess", depending on source. The reference I had some 25 years ago was from an archaeology treatise on Gaelic/Celtic naming conventions.
Here's hoping this info is of help.
Regards, Uyraell.
