Hello... My name is Terissa and I am 15 years old. I actually thought that my name was unique and no one else had it since I was named from a mix of Theresa (moms friend) and Terri (my aunt) but I was looking on myspace and found out that there are alot more Terissa's then I thought there were! lol... SO... If you have the name Terissa I would really love to be able to talk to you and if you have any idear what it means then hit me up!

If your name was created by your mother as a mix of Theresa and Terri, then that's its meaning. Terri can be a nickname for Theresa, so you could use Theresa's meaning as the meaning for your name, I guess.

My name isn't Terissa, but I don't think it has one fixed meaning. It's a coincidence that there are other Terissas out there, as other parents could have been making up what they thought was an original combo of names such as Theresa and Nerissa, Marissa, Clarissa etc. It's such an evident combo that I'd be surprised if no one had it as well as you. I hope that answered your questions.
