Shay
I kind of like Shay for a girl. Opinions? I also like Shea but I think Shay looks better. Shae is another possibility. Which spelling do you prefer?

I've always had a soft spot for the name and I like both Shay and Shae.

I know a girl called Shae. I personally don't like the name though.

I like Shay better for a boy, and even then I prefer Shea. However, I don't mind Shea on a girl. It's kind of pretty.I don't like Shae, as it looks backwards to me.

I like is for either gender. I also like Shae, but Shay looks more correct to me. However I would probably think Shae was a girl and Shay was a boy.

I prefer Shea. Shay looks tacky to me.It's an okay name. I can't find anything offensive about it, but I can't find anything impressive about it, either.

I like Shea the best for a full name. Shay looks too much like a nickname. I have a cousin and a family friend named Shaylene nn Shay. I like it for both boys or girls, which is rare for me.

I'd go with Shae because it looks more feminine. Shay would work for a girl, but I think it seems more masculine. I prefer the name for a boy in general.I like Shea, but I used to go to school with a Shea, and people called him SHEE-a by mistake. Shea isn't that complicated of a name, and people can catch on, but if you'd like to avoid pronunciation problems, go with Shae or Shay.

Out of all of the spellings I prefer Shae, Shea I get confused with prenunciation and I just generally dislike the look of Shay. It is an alright middle name but I wouldn't use it as a first name.
