Re: MEANING OF THE NAME
I do not know (sounds vaguely familiar for some reason, possibly something to do with ritual sacrifice, but cannot pinpoint), but since no one else replied, let me point out that the element yuvan could be the sanskrit word cognate with and meaning young. The problem is that I can't think of either a suffix -ikha, nor a word ikha (ok that does mean motion or walking, so one could have youthful walk as a meaning I suppose), nor a word nikha (before which the n would get dropped, but origin from ni+khan, to dig, bury, erect seems unlikely).Of course, it is possible that the original word has been modified by enough change of pronounciation that I can't recognize it any more. Which language is it from?Tanmoy
