Jacek/Jack
I know that Poles use Jack as a translation of Jacek.
Is there any relation?

Just the appearance! Which is deceptive ... one Polish Jacek that I know says that he just gave up trying to get people in the UK to pronounce Jacek, lost the e, and lived happily ever after. (His grandson, named after him but speaking no Polish, is usually known as *YAHssek and doesn't complain too much. But that's in South Africa.)

Alright, that's what I thought, thank you.
Although, really, the pronouncuation of Jacek isn't that hard - ya-ts-ek.
