maybe Shy -ann is 西安(a city name)
Shigh-AHN is 石安(maybe is a male name)
Kigh-Lyn is 李凯(in english is 凯 李)

Well, the spelling is certainly not pinyin. Lyn is spelt Lin, Kigh is spelt Kai, Ahn is spelt An, Lay is spelt Lei. I don't know what Shy/Shigh is, it might be Shi, Xi, Qi, Zhi or something else.

What do you mean by "spell these"? You mean for some of these names you are not sure how they are pronounced and thus are not sure about an appropriate spelling in Latin script?Even if one knows the usual and commonly used Latin transliteration of a Chinese name it is very hard to find out which name this could be, because of the high number of Chinese (one-syllable) words with the same pronounciation (only different by tone).Throw some insecurity about "spelling" into this, and it becomes pretty much hopeless...Of course, if you knew the Chinese characters used to write these names, finding out the meaning would become trivial - just read them!
