My name is Shaleen (haha as you know ;) ) and I once heard that my , our, nam means "the rising sun" I am not entirly sure if its true but I like o think that I start everines day. :D:D Hopefully that helped. Bye

Could also be a form of the indian name Shalini meaning 'modest'.
