Vera Hyancinth
I dreamt last night that I named a child Vera Hyacinth. What do you think of it? It seems kind of cool. Also, do you know any names other than Guinevere that Vera could be a nickname for?

I really like Vera Hyacinthe. I would just go with Vera. Guinevere Hyacinthe is too much.

I agree that Guinevere Hyacinth would be too much. I was looking for something else Vera could be short for, but I think that Vera itself might be just right. :)

I love Vera. Maybe Elvira/ Elvera?

It's beautiful. I like Vera as a nn for Verena or Verity. Veronica could also be used.

I like Vera as a stand alone name and as a nickname for Veronica. I'm not a fan of Hyacinth and I think Vera Hyacinth sounds prissy.

I think Vera is a very glamourous name but it's hard to imagine a baby/ little girl called Vera. Hyacinth is nms but it's fine as a middle name. I always thought Vera would be a cool nickname for Veronica. It also works for Verity.

I like it. I get the feeling of glamorous 30s and Slavic with Vera, and Victorian flower power with Hyacinth.
Vera could also be a nickname for Verity or Verena.

I had never thought of Verena. Thank you for the suggestion!

Ditto Llewella, I've never thought of Vera as a nn. I actually know one Vera (my grandmother's sister) and one Wera (from school). I don't really like Vera Hyacinth, but on the other hand I've never liked Vera and Hyacinth is a name that makes me giggle.

Wow, that is cool! It's very sweet-old-lady-ish, and it's pleasantly pastel purple and flowery.I've never really thought of Vera as a nn, but I think it's a really neat nn for Guinevere. I guess it could also work for Veronica.

It's lovely, and I like Vera as a full name. I guess it could be a nn for Verity too.
