Hello! My name is Campbell, as you can see, and I'm very interested in etymology, and have been for a while. I believe that names have an impact on the person that it belongs to, i.e. personality traits. Not to say that the way someone turns out is soley based on their name, but it does have an impact.
I signed up for this website mostly because I would like to contribute any useful information I find out about names here, hoping to help you all out when searching for a name. I also believe that the pronunciations of names and languages reflects the environment and culture of the people speaking it.
Coming from Irish, Scottish, English, and Native American origins, I'm especially interested in those types of names.
