Love, love, love this name! We gave it to our third baby, second son. It is a beautiful nature name. Unique, but easy to pronounce and still a “real” word. Love its simplicity and gentle/strong sound. Other kiddos are Laurel and Linden, so Alder fits in perfectly! Only drawback has been people mistaking it for “Adler” or “Elder”.
