Very beautiful! I like it so much more than Alexia.
Absolutely love this name! I picture a 20 year old Italian girl with curly brown hair and glasses. I find this name so pretty and elegant.
I think this name is unique without being too out there. It also lends to not having a specific age demographic attached to it that, in my opinion, does this charming name a great service.
It just looks weird.
Personally I love the name Alessia, it’s so mysterious and strong.
No. Sounds like a disorder. Or an allergy medication.
Not a fan AT ALL!
Gorgeous!
Really pretty and rare!
I love Alessia, my husband and I originally named our daughter 'Alexa' but Amazon came and ruined the name. So before our daughter started kindergarten we legally changed it to save her from years of teasing. It's similar but unique and the association is more about pop singer Alessia Cara than the Amazon personal assistant. It took a bit to adjust to the new pronunciation but eventually grew accustomed to it and she loves it!
Pretty and underused.
I am an Alessia, and I've got to say I love my name. I used to wish I had a more simple name, but it does feel good to have people come up to me and say "wow, your name is so pretty and unique, where does it come from?"
I'm Italian, and even though people often mispronounce it (I've been called Alexis, Alyssa, Ah-lee-sia, and even Alessius) it's a wonderful name to have, and a memorable one.
We used this for my daughter back in 2007. It still garners a lot of mispronunciations and confusion. But she absolutely loves her name.
I have twin girls, their names are Andrea & Alessia. My husband chose Andrea's name, I chose Alessia's. She was originally named after my grandmother who was an Alicia. I considered naming her simply Alicia but I knew it would be butchered, everyone would say it A-LEESH-UH or jokingly call her Alice so I opted for the Italian name Alessia which sounds nearly the name. Their full names are Andrea Valentina and Alessia Veronica.
With my husband being from Sicily and it being ranked in the top ten over there, and considered rare here... perfecto!
The name Alessia was given to 169 baby girls born in the US in 2012.
This is gorgeous. I've never met or heard of anyone with this name but I absolutely love it.
Alessia is very feminine and cute! Better than Alexia as I love the 'Alex' part in names for boys not girls.
I think this name is so cute.
I love the name Alessia, it's cute and pretty.
I think this name is beautiful. It's not as harsh as Alexis or Alexandra, which I believe all of them mean the same thing.
This name is great with 'Lissy' as a nickname.
I don't really like it, as I think it's too "elegant" in an obvious way.
Great name to give for the namesake Alice!
I love this name. My parents named me Alessia while we lived in Ukraine and when left for America I started hating it but now I see how unique and pretty it is.
