Comments for the name Alivia

I like this modern form of Olivia compaired to others I've seen. Alivia is pretty!

This name is okay, but I like Olivia much, much more.

Prefer Alivia to Olivia, but I wouldn't use it due to the fact that is a variant and she would always have her name spelled as Olivia.

It looks pretty, but it sounds too much like Olivia. People might think her name really is Olivia, but she spells it Alivia to be different.

I think it'd be alright for a fictional character in, say, a novel, though.

To me it sounds like some an insect name, and the name Olivia isn't that great anyway.

I really dislike this ugly alternative spelling of the lovely Olivia name. All I think of when I see it is the word ALIVE which makes me think of Igor in Frankenstein's Monster screaming "IT'S ALIVE!" With Olivia so popular these days, someone named Alivia is in for a lifetime of unnecessary hassle and confusion too.

Parents, just say no to weird spellings! You're not doing your child a favor misspelling a popular name. Want your child to stand out? Choose a name that is actually different.

Oh another less than flattering association the spelling Alivia brings to mine is the movie "Alive" where a plane crashes in the mountains and the survivors are forced to eat the people who died to stay alive.
