Alli would make a very sweet sounding, although slightly childish given name or a lovely nickname for Aliisa or Alina in Finnish, if the plural of it ('allit') wasn't slang for arm fat. This term was apparently derived from Allina "Alli" Paasikivi, the wife of president Juho Kusti Paasikivi, who wore sleeveless outfits in old age.

166 people in the US actually gave their daughters the name 'Alli' as a full name in 2012. I prefer Allie.

I prefer the spelling Allie for this name, but really, I do not like any of the Allie's.
