Canzetta "Candi" Staton (/ˈsteɪtən/, STAY-tən) is an American singer–songwriter, best known in the United States for her 1970 remake of Tammy Wynette's "Stand by Your Man" and her 1976 disco chart-topper "Young Hearts Run Free". In Europe, Staton's biggest selling record is the anthemic "You Got the Love" from 1986, released in collaboration with the Source. Staton was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame and is a four-time Grammy Award nominee.
Candalyn "Candi" Kubeck (née Chamberlin; 1961 – 1996) was an American commercial airline pilot and the captain of ValuJet Flight 592. This flight crashed into the Everglades in 1996, after oxygen generators illegally placed in a cargo hold started and maintained a fire that disrupted aircraft functionality and flooded the entire cabin and cockpit with smoke. The crash made Kubeck the first female captain to pass away in a commercial airline crash.
Candace Rummel (1958 – 2022) was an American professional wrestler better known by her ring name Candi Devine. She won singles championships in several promotions, most notably in the American Wrestling Association (AWA), where she held the AWA Women's Championship four times.
Candi Milo is an American voice actress. Her many voice roles include Sweetie on Tiny Toon Adventures, Dona, Lucil, and Pacce in Final Fantasy X, Dexter in the third and fourth seasons of Dexter's Laboratory, and Dr. Wakeman on My Life as a Teenage Robot. (Her name is short for Candyce.)
