Consuelo Moreno-López was a supercentenarian (someone who lives past their 110th birthday) who was born in Spanish Morocco in 1893 and later died in Virginia (US) in 2004, at the age of 111.
The very prestigious Mexican actress Victoria Ruffo, in the Mexican soap opera Pobre Niña Rica (Poor Rich Girl), played Consuelo. Consuelo was a very unhappy woman. Her parents were multimillionaires, but still, Consuelo's mother, Teresa, treated her as a servant. Consuelo was always very sad, because her mother made her believe she was ugly and dumb, until she went to France, where she met Julio (played by Ariel Lopez Padilla) and got in love. Julio gave Consuelo a higher self-esteem and married her. Since that time, Consuelo became much happier. Near the end, they reveal that Teresa was not Consuelo's real mother.
Consuelo Vanderbilt married the ninth Duke of Marlborough and was a famous society beauty. Her family, the Vanderbilts, were millionaires that had made their fortune in the railroad industry.
