I would like to add the following to my previous comment about the pronunciation of Dieuwe:The pronunciation that I gave earlier for Dieuwe (DEW-wə), is the Dutch pronunciation.The Frisian pronunciation, however, is quite different from the Dutch pronunciation. In Friesland, it is pronounced as: DYOO-wə.
