What if someone asks your kid, "Hey, what's your name?", and the poor kids says "Hi, I'm Dutch! Wanna play with me?" Sounds ridiculous.

Well... Dutch is mainly a nickname, not a given name. So it’s possible that the person going by Dutch, has another name of sorts.
But hey... Still hell of a cool nickname if you ask me ;)
