I'm particularly fond of Ea being a two-letter, two-vowel name. Within the countries it's used, it's perceived as adorable. It's been used as a given name, middle name or short form. In Norwegian (and Iceland), for instance, pronounced EH-a; in Danish (Swedish, Finnish, and Greenlandish) pronounced EE-a. I, too, think they both have a lovely sound, as is the pronunciation AY-a, which can be another option. My personal favourite is EH-a. Other options could be Èa (with a grave accent) and Éa (with an acute accent), which, depending on the language, are pronounced either EH-a or AY-a. For a female, Ea, has long been my second favourite name!
