My longtime suspicion has been confirmed: Turkey, a large, beautiful country which straddles the Middle East, is the true center of nature and the arts. Countless given names so far have reflected this idea -- paper marbling is a wonderful dream, like a melted kaleidoscope, and this quiet art form does much to remind me of the purples and oranges that paint the sky in the evenings.
