Don't like it. Sounds like someone tried to combine Elvis and Alvin together.

I love this name! I like the idea that it could mean something like 'friend of elves'. It also sounds youthful, yet classic.

This is a classy name and not heard of every where you go. My grandfather has this name, although he goes by his middle name "Dee". It looks almost like "Elfin", so I can see why he would. To me it sounds like a name of a sweet, smart, kind of dorky guy who does well in school.
