Enoch

This is one of my favorite Biblical names, I love that it’s not overused but still familiar. I was thinking of nickname ideas and I came up with Echo, which is kind of cool.

The name Enoch makes me think of Boardwalk Empire which is based on the criminality of Enoch L. Johnson (“Nucky”).

A eunuch comes to mind when I see this name. I'm sorry to everyone who's named Enoch, it's honestly just what I think when I see this.

I’ve met one guy named Enoch, and when I pronounced it Ee-knock he and his wife looked at me like I was crazy. Apparently if it’s a regular dude and not a biblical figure, it’s pronounced Ee-nick. At least in the Southern US.

Like a baby saying he knocks:

I actually am really fond of the name Enoch. It's a classic biblical name and is a strong name that ages very well. Plus I think it's very cute and refreshing. (:

I think of this name as grandad-ish. It sounds a bit like the granny names Ena, Ina (also pronounced 'EYE-na'), and Enid.

This is an okay name, I suppose.
