People's immaturity and fear of ''the other'' aside, this simply isn't the prettiest name out there. It rhymes with Kayla, that hideous little-girl name.

This is my sisters name only we spell it Gaela.

This is one of those names you just don't name your child due to the meaning it has taken on (Gay = homosexual) which would cause uneasiness and teasing.
