It's a great name, but I'm tired of valley girls using it as a "Cool" way to spell "Hi".

Hi. Yeah, all my friends nowadays use this spelling for "hi" and now even I'm caught in it.

I always use the word Hai for a form of greeting, but didn't know it was a name. I would assume people would use this name as a form of greeting like Hi.

Unfortunately, and as nice as this name sounds, I have heard that it is the Cantonese equivalent for c**t.
