My name is Hajnal and I live in the UK and I'm just very tired of correcting people on how to pronounce and spell it, I also prefer the nickname Hajni which is pronounced really similarly to the American slang word heinie... I'd definitely not give this name to my daughter, and would not recommend it to anyone as it makes your life very difficult, alternatives can be Aurora or Dawn.
