In Arabic Hana, written هناء, means happiness or bliss.
Hana is the Czech and Slovak form the Hebrew name Channah which meant "favour" or "grace". [noted -ed]
HANA in Czech or Slovak isn't only a "short form of Johana", it is also a form of the name Anna, in English Ann, but Anna is maybe one from Slavic form of Hannah, Hana @ Anna, Johana is Jane.
I'm named Hana, and one of its meanings is "flower" or "nose" in Japanese.
