Haruka Haruno (春野はるか) from the magical girl anime "Go! Princess Precure". Haruka is the main character of the anime, and her cure form is Cure Flora. Go! Princess Precure is the twelfth season in the Precure franchise, making it's debut on February 1st, 2015.
Haruka first made the Japanese girls top 10 in 1994, peaking at #3 in 1995. It last made the top 10 in 1999.遥 (distant, remote) is the most common spelling in which the name reached the Japanese top 10.
Haruka was given to 10 girls in America in 2016.
遥 is unisex, not feminine only. [noted -ed]
Haruka was last year's most popular girl name in Japan in terms of sound (Aoi {葵} was the most popular in terms of both the kanji and the combination of kanji/kana & sound). For boys, in terms of sound, it's in 188th place.Rankings for Haruka based on kanji/kana & sound combination:

Let me also add that there are 2 surveys conducted by Benesse and Meiji Yasuda Life every year to determine which name was the most popular. In terms of sound, Benesse puts Haruka (girl) at 17th place while Meiji Yasuda Life puts Haruka (girl) at 16th. Since Japan doesn't have an official popularity list, the data that I put up on BTN should not be used as pure evidence of which names are currently popular.
Haruka written with the kanji for distant (遥) is used more often as a boy's name in Japan.
