Héloïse de Villefort is the evil second wife of Gérard de Villefort and the stepmother of Valentine in Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo. She goes on a poisoning spree, killing several people, culminating with her own son. (I still like the name though.)
Heloise is a very intelligent 11-year-old young girl from Jimmy Two-Shoes.
Heloise is an adorable dog in Dodie Smith's 'I Capture the Castle'. They also have a cat named Abelard.
Jean-Jacques Rousseau (a famous philosopher of the Age of Enlightenment) wrote a novel called "La Nouvelle Héloïse" (the new Heloise). There isn't a character named Héloïse in this novel but the plot takes its inspiration from Héloïse and Abélard's story.
Heloise is the name of a columnist/author/magazine editor, who helps people with household difficulties. As far as I know, she goes by only her first name.
Heloise was the name of a famous medieval writer/philosopher and nun. She is best known, however, through her ill-fated relationship with her mentor, Abelard, and the letters that survive from their lifelong correspondence.
