Very dated in Sweden and Norway. It was most popular in the early 20th century and is seen as kind of a ‘grandma’/great-grandma name and probably won’t be making a comeback. (Unlike Ingrid, although Ingrid has ALWAYS been popular in Norway).
Inga is a common name in the northern Scottish isles of Orkney and Shetland. Probably because of the islands' strong links to Scandinavia throughout history.

In Sweden it is often seen in hyphenated names like Inga-Britt, Inga-Lill (Ingalill), also in Ing-versions like Ing-Marie.

Inga is not that common in Sweden. Why, why, why is it always "Inga from Sweden" in films?
