Jacinthe

Jacinthe is pronounced zha-SANT in French.

This is my mother's name and as an American she pronounces it Jess-aint, while her father pronounced it Ja-cent (you have to imagine the strong French accent on the "j"). I don't know if either was the proper way to say it, but the second one sounds good to me. (She always preferred Jessie.)
