I think Jean is a nice name. It has a gorgeous French charm, it is classy and timeless, and it ages flawlessly. Though I would prefer it for a boy, I think it would work fine for a girl as well. Overall, I think Jean is a lovely name.
Ugly for a boy, neither for a girl, strongly dislike this name.
Handsome for a boy, it sounds wrong for a girl like no, for a girl name her Jeanne instead.
I have always loved this name and thought it sounds beautiful as well as classic.♥ I imagine a rich and handsome type of boy/man who is admired by many girls/women. However, alongside Jan, I hate the feminine alternative: Jan (2) and Jean (2).
So handsome.
It’s the name of the day :>
To be honest it sounds nice!
I love to use this name in French class and it is a nice name.
I like the double name Jean Jacques, translated in English as John Jacob or John James and in German as Johann Jakob.
This is my middle name. It is alright I guess, I would've preferred something a bit more feminine. My grandfather was named Jean and thus I got stuck with it as my middle name.
It's a really cool name, I really like it. I think it's a great name, and Jean Valjean was awesome in the school production of Les Miserables! I want to see it again!
This is in regards to the male name 'Jean'. I think it is a beautiful French name, it guarentees your little one will be an individual. A good freind of mine is named Jean and he is just wonderful. A number of parents are starting to name their children 'Jean Baptiste' in honor of John the Baptist. Something to think about.
