Much better than John! I like this!
Reminds me of the traditional festival in Finland.
A classic name that never gets old. I like it.
Man, why does it seem like it's the quintessential name for classical music composers? Am I the only one who noticed that?
Original form of John, but also better than that and or any modified variants of Jackson used today, and has history behind it.
I think this is such a handsome name. I've never known a single Johannes in my whole life, but I've never been to Europe, so I guess that's why.
I'm Chinese, living in Canada and I LOVE the name Johannes! It doesn't matter if the father of my children is White, Yellow or Black. I wanna name my son Johannes! :)
Such a beautiful name!
I do love the name Johannes; it is very beautiful. I don't have a hard time imagining a little boy with this name anymore! I also like Boldizsár for a little boy, but when I saw newborn pictures of a little boy, I knew that mine would have to be a Johannes, not a Boldizsár. I am stuck for another baby boy's name, other than Johannes. Johannes it too beautiful. :-)
I love the name Johannes! I'm from Hungary, but my fourth great-grandfather, Johannes Schillinger, was from Germany. My Mom's father's side of the family is completely German. I want to name my son Johannes! It is not popular at all in Hungary, Janos is. I don't like the name Janos, I think Johannes is more classier and more gorgeous. :) It is hard to imagine a little baby, a little boy with this name, that is my main problem with Johannes, but then again, the name is absolutely beautiful.
I know the most awesome Johannes, and the spelling of this name is one of my fave things about it. It can be cute and refined at the same time and stay really unique and interesting.
This name is gorgeous. It was the name of my fifth or sixth great-grandfather from Germany. I want to use it as one of the middle names for my son.
I love this name so much; it's my favorite German name. I picture a calm, soft-spoken, pensive man philosophizing in his study.
Definitely one of my favorite names! It is classic but unique. I think it would suit a mature, thoughtful and silent man in his best year.
I think it is a strong, handsome, classic name.
