I used to like this more than all its other variants, but now my favorite variant is Caroline. Although I don’t HATE this spelling, I’d MUCH prefer the Caroline spelling.

It's a great name, but if you name your child this be warned. Everyone will be constantly misspelling and mispronouncing their name. Carolyn, Carolin, Karolin Caroline, and those are only a few of the ways it will be messed up.

Datedddd! Everyone will be able to tell around what year you were born. The 'k' spelling of popular c names will date the bearer horribly. Think Khloe, Kasey, Karly, etc.

This name looks much better spelled Carolyn.
