I agree with the above comment, and let's not forget Kathie Lee Gifford, that annoying former talk show host who can't shut up about her kids.

This is the ugliest nickname you can get from Katherine, and it's spelled in a very girly way.

I like this spelling better than Kathy because "ie" just seems so much more feminine to me, although both names are pretty great and unique, since Kate and Katie have taken the spotlight for Katherine these days.
