Keara

Shabby spelling.

My sister's name is Keara. Often people will pronounce this spelling Key-Are-Uh. It is often presumed that Kira is the correct spelling for its pronunciation. I love this name and often envied my sister for having such a beautiful and unique name. It is a variation on the Celtic name Ciara (feminine Of Ciaran). I've been told that the name Keara means dark or black.
