This is one of the best diminutives of a name I have ever heard of. It reminds me of kuma, Japanese for bear. It also rhymes with puma! This name sounds feisty and tough! The way I see it, this is far better than Jakub or Jacob (both are nice names). No wonder it's endlessly popular in Poland!

It's so-so. It reminds me Cuba. There are so many better short forms for Jacob in the world.

Could also be Kubusz. I think the name is absolutely adorable! I know countless Kuba's in Poland.
