Gorgeous!
I’ve just come across this name through a character in a game I am playing at the moment (though it’s spelled with a double ‘s’ in this case - Lissette) and don’t think I’ve ever seen it before. I prefer the single ‘s’ and would use it spelled that way. It’s actually struck me as a really pretty name.Would be a good choice for people with last names of French origin too.
I like it a lot. It's very pretty.
Beautiful and sophisticated.
Lisette is a name where pretty and sophistication intersect. I LOVE this name, it is the name of my daughter.
Lisette is my name and I like it.
Lisette has been my child's name for 26 yrs. There's never been a moment's trouble with it, in the states or abroad. It sounds very feminine but happily, our soccer loving kiddo, found that it gives way, either way. I think people often think too hard about how wrong things might go with their child's name when often nothing or very little ever even happens. Just give you kid a name that has meaning, like a family connection so that they can feel grounded to it, teach them how to say it properly and spell it, then let it go. You've done what you can do. If a bully is going to tease they'll find something regardless. That's a completely different lesson your little one.
I love this name and think its so pretty. I also like it spelled this way LISETTE (soft S) as opposed to LIZETTE (Z sound) Unfortunately my husband has a relative named Lisette so we'd never use it, wouldn't want two in the family.
I love this name! It is like Sacagawea's daughter's name (Lizette but sometimes Lisette). I prefer this spelling because it has "lis" in it, which reminds me of "fleur de lis." Therefore, I think Lily would be a nice nickname for Lisette.
My middle name is Elizabeth and if I was going to use it as my first name I would want the nickname Lisette.
I love the name Lisette! It is so pretty and elegant and feminine! This is my name in my French class and sometimes I wish it could be my real name.
Lisette is a lovely name. I've always liked it but am always surprised how a lot of people don't. The only thing I don't like is that this name has various spellings and have a feeling a girl named Lisette would constantly need to correct people on how to spell it correctly. I don't like the double 'S' or the 'Z' spellings of this name at all. When I see Lisette spelled 'Lizette' or "Lizzette', I think of a lizard. Not cool at all.
Leave Lisette to the French. Here in the States, it sounds like you're trying too hard.
Very cheerful. I think Lisette is better for a little girl than a woman.
Lovely name. I think it's better for a little girl than a woman.
When I started studying French in seventh grade, we were given a list of some French names and told to pick one to be our "French name" for the time we would be studying French. I chose Lisette. Lisette is very beautiful and very feminine. My great-grandmother's name was Elizabeth, and Elizabeth is also my middle name so Lisette sounded like a very appropriate name to choose.
Lisette is one of the prettiest variations of Elizabeth.
I think this is a beautiful variant of the name Elizabeth.
