This name was given to the female protagonist in Persona 3 Portable by the fans, mainly due to how they would always name the male protagonist Minato Arisato. Many say that the name 'Minako' is just an altered version of the name 'Minato' due to this, but as seen here, 'Minako' is a real Japanese name, and a pretty popular Japanese name too.
