Nanny

Nanny in English corresponds with the word "Nanny", which means "A person, traditionally a woman, employed to take care of a child." People may think of this meaning if they hear/use the name Nanny.

Er...great nickname, but not my favorite.

I prefer Nannie because the spelling is at least not...Nanny.

My name is Annie and once when I was ordering pizza and the cashier asked me what my name was, they thought that my name was Nanny.

I’m neutral about the name Nanny, however, it would lead to teasing on the child baring the name, but once he/she reaches the age of 60 and is babysitting children, it will suit the person then.

I would hope nobody puts this as their child's name on a birth certificate. Maybe a cute nickname from time to time, but nothing official.

Nanny is what you call a grandmother, a goat or a babysitter. This is not a name.
