Just because the occasional girl is given a man's name does not make it feminine. Neal (or "Neale") is a great masculine name and should stay that way.

Neal is a feminine name. My name is Neale - yes with an e on the end. It's totally girly!

Hey, this is my name. And I love it! I also prefer this spelling over the '-eil' (Which is more common, I know, but doesn't sound right. Sounds more like "Knee-aisle" then "Knee-uhl")
