Nereida

Spanish names are lovely, but I do believe that Nereida is the only one I have a particular fondness for. Indeed, it sounds like a gentle splash in a pond -- maybe a little sea nymph? It works well across all generations, and I doubt that its beauty will ever grow old.

I really like this name. It's gorgeous. I find it prettier than the related name Nerissa, although both are lovely names.

Nereida is such a beautiful name with a beautiful meaning. I wouldn't use it though - it's a bit too over the top, but it's definitely a lovely name.
